Hecate (Ἑκάτη) is a goddess from ancient Greek mythology and religion, known as the deity of night, crossroads, magic, witchcraft and the moon. She was a powerful and respected figure who could grant prosperity and protection, yet also reveal her darker aspects.
Hecate is often depicted in triple form, holding torches, keys or serpents, accompanied by dogs.
